East Brother welcomes new keepers, Katy and Elan Stewart!

While some might consider living on an island and working together close quarters, East Brothers new keepers are used to close quarters. Katy and Elan spent 10 months on a 30 foot sailboat traveling down the coast of California to central Mexico and over to Hawaii. Working at East Brother is an extension of that lifestyle for them, it just doesn't move. Katy has had her captains license for four years and sparked Elan's interest in sailing and boats.

East Brothers new keepers both have hospitality experience which they bring to serving the island's guests, both previously worked several years with Hornblower cruises. Film is also an interest and passion for both of them. They met when they were studying at the Academy of Art: Film School in San Francisco.
